For reference:

The American company Holtec International was the contractor for the construction of the Central Spent Fuel Storage Facility.

Energoatom signed the contract with Holtec International for the construction of the CSFNF in 2005.

At the beginning of 2015, the companies signed an additional agreement to this Contract, under which Energoatom was responsible for the design and construction of the storage facility, and Holtec International to supply special equipment for dry storage of spent nuclear fuel, its transportation and related technologies.

The construction of the CSFNF was completed within the deadlines set by the documents, and on April 25, 2022, the SNRIU issued a separate permit for its commissioning. The first deliveries of spent nuclear fuel from three Ukrainian nuclear power plants – South Ukraine, Khmelnytsky and Rivne – may take place this year.
